Corbiere Lighthouse Adventure

Meeting at the lower car park of Corbière, enjoy a gentle meander along the causeway to understand a little about the fascinating history of the area, and learn about the geology, flora and fauna that surround you, not to mention the role that the area played during the WW2 occupation of the island.

As you climb through the highly polished brass staircase, you will come to understand the lives of the Lighthouse keepers of the past, see where they worked, and marvel at the 19th century instruments they used, still in place and gleaming, as if the keepers had stepped out of the room just a moment ago.
