Moonlight Walk to Seymour Tower
Leave the lights of Jersey behind us and stroll beneath the rays of the moon. Enter this unique nighttime intertidal world accompanied by two experienced local guides to discover its history and marine life as we walk one mile offshore to Seymour Tower. As the tide recedes, we walk into a seascape where the reflections of stars twinkle in the rock pools, along with the occasional sparkle of bioluminescence*. Perhaps, on a clear night, catch a glimpse of a shooting star, the constellations and perhaps a planet. At your feet, marine creatures scurry about on nocturnal missions while our figures cast moon shadows. On the brightest moonlit nights, you may even be able to read a newspaper – though the marine life is perhaps more newsworthy!
Duration: 2½–3 hours. Three miles (4.8km) over easy to moderate terrain at night. Wellington boots can be hired.
*Note. The best displays of bioluminescence occur on nights with little or no moon. Visit our website for dates of all our seabed walks and online booking.

This walk takes place in darkness. Expect to walk across uneven and wet surfaces. Inclusion, BSL and Autism trained staff. Please contact us in advance to discuss any special requirements. We will endeavour to enable you or your group to have an enjoyable activity.
