Take it easy on this coastal walk where sweeping sea views meet soft sands underfoot. This easy-going section of the Jersey Tidal Trail starts in the charming fishing harbour of Gorey, weaving along beach paths and quiet lanes, leading you to the peaceful harbour of La Rocque and a shoreline made for slow moments and sea-gazing.

The Ranch East
Hi Ranchers! We are a friendly restaurant that serves delicious breakfast, lunch and even the occasional BBQ. We are children and pet friendly and welcome everyone with open arms. There is a large beer garden outside with a kids play area and toy sheds. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much for them, just ask!

Timmy’s Hard Rocque Cafe
Located on the Harbour at La Rocque, with amazing views and wildlife on show. The kiosk serves up quality beach food at a good price. Bacon rolls, burgers, fish finger rolls, sandwiches, tea, coffee, cakes and ice creams - we have it all.
Beach Cafe Jersey (The Hungry Whale)
We are proud to be the place to stop by and stay. The perfect blend of a chill dog-friendly atmosphere, delicious coffee, and breath taking views of the ocean. Taking over The Hungry Whale in 2022 became a mission in offering good quality coffee, fresh sourdough and healthier menu options for dog walkers, locals and families.

A traditional, good old fashioned Jersey pub offering a warm welcome and great grub. One of the best located pubs in the island , with excellent views across to Seymour Tower and beyond. Jersey Oyster Company
The company is the largest oyster growing concern in the British Isles and exports over 1,000 tons of oysters a year with 80% being exported to France. The produce is purified in tanks and packed at a purpose-built plant in Grouville. The business is owned by Chris Le Masurier, a third-generation oyster farmer.
The Oyster Trail
Join a local resident to walk among the oyster and mussel beds in the Royal Bay of Grouville, followed by the opportunity to sample fresh Jersey Oysters at The Seymour Pub and Restaurant. Robin Bay
Robin Bay is a small, sandy, sheltered beach in the south east of Jersey, next to La Rocque Harbour. It's the perfect sun trap where soft sand beckons rock climbing adventures, rock pooling and paddling. Take care if you're swimming, as the currents here can be quite strong. It's best to stay in the sheltered cove of the bay.
Seymour Tower
Quite unique, this is the only square-shaped Conway tower in the island, standing more than a mile offshore in the heart of Jersey’s low tide ‘lunar’ landscape. Only venture out to this tower with an experienced walking guide, the incoming tide with its whirlpools and gullies can be treacherous.
The Royal Bay of Grouville
The Royal Bay of Grouville, known to locals as Long Beach, has a long stretch of soft golden sand with calm sheltered waters perfect for swimming. You can enjoy water skiing, wakeboarding, banana boat rides and even hire a motor dinghy in summer. Young families will love this friendly beach nestled near the sleepy Gorey Village.
Seabed Walk to Icho Tower
Discover a marine world that is hidden beneath the ocean and only appears on the lowest tides of the year as we walk one mile from shore to Icho Tower. Venture into Jersey’s very own wilderness, which is covered by some of the highest tides in the world, on a marine exploration with a local trained guide. Also called “Moonwalks”, our walks are in the daytime, and the seabed is more than just a barren lunar-like landscape.

La Rocque Harbour
Situated on the south eastern tip of Jersey, La Rocque is a small fishing harbour with a long breakwater that makes for a splendid seaside stroll. A beautiful sandy beach provides the perfect spot to set yourself up for a day on the beach. This area of the island sees dramatic changes every low tide, with miles of sand, gullies and reefs exposed.
