48 hours in Jersey

The adventure is waiting

After selling his life for a Jersey £1 in 2011, Sean Conway vowed from that day on to fill his days with experiences rather than things. Best known for being the first person to cycle, swim and run the length of Great Britain, the extreme adventurer took on Jersey.  Over 48 hours Sean tackled as many on-island adventure and outdoors activities as possible. Now he is back to take on the ultimate adventure on the island break: The Breca Jersey SwimRun with a willing volunteer.

Breca Jersey Swimrun

The Breca Jersey Swimrun will be returning for its third year in 2018. Swimrun involves teams of two traversing trail and open water, running in their wetsuits and swimming in their shoes.

The Breca Jersey Swimrun involves swimming and running 53.5 kilometres around the stunning Jersey coastline (47km run / 6.5km swim). You’ll need to be a competent swimmer and runner to complete the race, and possess more than a smidgen of mental toughness, but with the right attitude, training and teammate it’ll be an experience that lives long in the memory.
