This fascinating family run Museum was established by the late Don Pallot with the object of promoting the permanent preservation of the island's mechanical heritage.
Step back in time and enjoy the vast and varied collection of steam locos and engines, vintage, commercial, military and classic vehicles, bicycles and toys, tractors and other machinery, nostalgic photographs, a variety of organs, including a pipe church and Compton theatre organ, domestic items, paraffin lamps, and numerous items of memorabilia all housed within this absorbing Museum. A real walk down Memory Lane.
The Museum lies between the A8 and A9 main roads (bus route 5 is closest with 1/2 mile walk). Free parking at the Museum. Visitors also welcome by appointment.

We have 2 wheelchairs available for visitors to use. The upper gallery is accessible via a ramp. Chairs are placed throughout the Museum for anyone wishing to take a little rest. Parking is available close to the Museum entrance.
