Jersey Festival of Words
This year's annual literary event will run from 15-24 September and promotes a love of the written and spoken word across our community in a variety of styles and settings, as well as welcoming internationally-renowned authors to our beautiful island.

The guiding principle of our festival is to celebrate the pleasure and power of words in all its forms, with something to include people of all ages and backgrounds.
Venues this year include the Jersey Arts Centre, Freedom Centre and the Jersey Library and features a wide range of talks, readings and performances from poet Laureate Simon Armitage, renowned children's author Michael Morpurgo, actress and writer Sheila Hancock and many many more.
