Melanie Cavey is a Jersey born, qualified Bronze Badge guide with a passion for the island and its fascinating history and beautiful environment. Melanie's main aim is always to make Jersey more than 'just an island', by bringing it alive through the stories behind buildings, places and some of the many people who have contributed to our society.

Melanie has considerable experience as a guide, having worked both locally and abroad on coach or walking tours. As a French speaker Melanie can offer all her walks and tours in either French or English.
As well as leading either bespoke or general island tours Melanie offers a variety of walks in St. Helier and on the south and east coasts. On these leisurely walks, learn how, over the centuries, islanders have had to adapt their lifestyles and commercial choices to keep pace with changes in the world around them and see evidence of these changes along the way. Join us for a guided walk through the picturesque and historic village of St Aubin and hear the many captivating tales of time gone by. Walk is easy - mostly flat, with a small hill. Meet at St Brelade's Parish Hall. £10pp. Book on Eventbrite or just turn up on the day. Tour Starts 11:15am.

FREE St. Helier Town Walks with JTGA
Come and explore Jersey's capital with a free guided walk around St. Helier every Tuesday. The walk begins and ends at the Town Hall and will run from 10:30 for 2 hours. Discover the varied and fascinating aspects of St. Helier each week as you're led by a different member of the Jersey Tourist Guides Association. There may be space on the day but search Eventbrite for "Free Guided Walk St. Helier" to book a ticket.
