With his deep knowledge of the Castle's rich history, he will share stories that stretch back through the centuries, from the reign of Queen Elizabeth I, when the Castle played a pivotal role in defending Jersey from potential threats, to the Battle of Jersey in 1781, when the Island's militia fought off a French invasion.
After hearing about the Castle’s history, it will be time to experience the resounding bang of a signal gun and later in the day, the flintlock musket. The Parade and Cannon will take place from 12:00-13:30 and Musket Fire from 14:00-15:00.
