More Information
This beautiful, historic monument dates back to 1837 and was the last surviving working tower mill in Jersey. Built from local granite and featuring stunning white sails, the unique building is steeped in character. The weighbridge where grain was delivered to the Windmill also survived and sets the tone as you enter the tranquil site, which now houses the Catherine Best jewellery showroom, a jewellery manufacturing workshop and café for visitors to enjoy. The Windmill stands 322 feet above sea level on the boundary separating St. Peter and St. Mary. It is surrounded with rural countryside, fields of daffodils, Jersey Royals and the iconic Jersey cows. A great stop on your way to, or returning from, the beaches and cliff path walks.
