To mark the 79th anniversary of the Liberation of Jersey, a service and re-enactment will be held in Liberation Square, St. Helier, at 9.45am on Thursday 9 May 2024.

Free reserved seating, which must be occupied no later than 9.30am, is available and will be allocated by the Parishes to Parish Senior Citizens who:
• Were residents in Jersey during the Occupation
• Evacuated
• Deported
• Serving in the forces at that time and their immediate and extended families
Limited seats in Liberation Square are available for free on a first come first served basis for those wishing to attend the reenactment ceremony and service of thanksgiving for Liberation Day 2024.
Seats must be taken by 10.15am all vacant seats will be made available after this time and the event will begin at 10.30am promptly.
