Wool spinning from drop spindle to spindle wheel, and then wheel with flyer. Join Gillian in the Langlois House for a demonstration of spinning on the Jersey spindle wheel, upon which she will spin the finest quality of Jersey 3-ply yarn, used in the creation of Jersey stockings. On Mondays you can also meet the knitter, who'll explain the rise and fall of the stocking knitting industry, and of its significance in the island's history.
