Pick Up The Pieces – Pottery Workshop
As part of the Société Jersiaise Archaeology Festival this workshop is intended for children aged 10-12, who can put themselves in the shoes of Iron Age potters. Archaeologist Hervé Duval specialises in the study of ancient pottery and can make the sherds speak. This is a practical session where children can rebuild the pottery from pieces.

If you wish to learn more about the role of a ceramologist, or share a hidden talent for 3D puzzles, then this is the perfect place for you. Come and join our team of young archaeologists! The workshop includes talks about the work of a ceramologist, and a practical session where children can try to rebuild pottery from pieces.
