May - The Durrell Challenge.
The Durrell Challenge is returning this year on Sunday 23 May. Take on the challenge and sign up to the 13km run, or go a step further and become a VIP runner to help raise vital funds for Durrell’s work protecting some of the most threatened wildlife on the planet.
June - Around the Island Walk.
The island walk is a Jersey institution. One of the biggest fundraising events in Jersey with more than 25,400 walkers raising over £2,368,000 in the past 30 years. This isn’t your casual island jaunt – walkers set off at 03:00am for a 48-mile trek through sheer cliffs, windblown bays and wooded lanes. Tiring? Yes. Worth it? Definitely. Complete the challenge for serious kudos from the friendly locals. Just bring a pair of walking boots and a thirst for adventure.
July - Accuro Jersey Triathlon.
With sea, sand and track all within easy reach, Jersey’s swiftly becoming a mecca for some leading triathlon events. Major events like the Super League Triathlon are making their base here, and the local event – held on 11 July 2021 – is known for being one of the most pulse-racing, challenging and picturesque courses in Britain.
August - Round the Rock.
The clue’s in the name; entrants at this ultra marathon tackle 48 miles and 1000 metres of climbs to circle the entire island – beaches, cliffs and all. Escape the city, explore the landscape and push yourself to the most gruelling limits on this unique, island Ultra Marathon.
September - Breca Jersey Swimrun.
This series of extreme adventure races through wild landscapes has come to Jersey, and uses the island’s rugged landscape as a fiendish natural playground. Starting in a castle, this course includes WW2 forts, and pristine sea swims that make for an unforgettable Jersey experience. Strong swimming skills are needed for this extreme adventure.
September – RBC Super League Triathlon.
RBC Super League Triathlon will be returning to Jersey in 2021. Whether beginner or contender, the race is super-fast, super addictive and is a memorable experience for all.
With 55 of the world’s top male and female triathletes taking part, Jersey welcomed over 10,000 spectators in 2018. Why not join in the fun? RBC Super League Age Group is open for all age groups, with individual men’s and women’s events, alongside a fun run, a thrilling mixed relay event and plenty of adrenaline-raising moments!

October - Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon.
Imagine a marathon route which took you past sandy beaches, through tree-lined lanes and around iconic island landmarks. Sounds good? Jersey Marathon’s island setting alone makes this event a top choice for international entrants. The professional organisation and friendly atmosphere have given it an excellent reputation nationally.
October - Rat Race Ultra Tour.
The island played host to Rat Race’s Brand New Ultra Tour of Jersey on 9 – 10 October 2021. Rat Race events are aspirational yet attainable, with thousands taking part every year.
With back-to-back marathons taking in all the very best trails that Jersey has to offer, the event will appeal to those seeking an active island escape. The Ultra Tour of Jersey is a new and unique format to the island’s sporting calendar and will encompass a two day, off-road running adventure, across breath-taking coastlines and countryside, racking up a total distance 60 miles.
November - CI 100k.
Calling all winter warriors. This race is only for the bravest souls who have a thirst for glory. At 100km, this course is not only the longest race in the Channel Islands, it takes place at night starting at 22:00 in the middle of winter. Make no mistake this will be a tough challenge, exposed to the wind and surf on Jersey’s dramatic north coast, but it will be one epic experience to tell your kids about.
