This was the moment when Force 135 came to the island, tasked with the monumental job of returning Jersey to civilian life, demilitarising the island, and beginning the rebuilding process after years of wartime hardship.

The Force 135 Living History Group is made up of passionate and knowledgeable individuals, who bring this pivotal moment in the island’s history to life. Using authentic military equipment and uniforms, they provide an accurate portrayal of the soldiers and civilians involved in this crucial phase of the island’s recovery.
