Geowalk: Following the Neanderthals

Join us on an exploration of La Cotte de St Brelade, one of the most important Neanderthal sites in North-west Europe and discover a story of climate change, migration and archaeology.

Journey across the beach, and if the tide and conditions allow scramble over the foreshore, to the foot of La Cotte de St Brelade to find out about the Neanderthals who used this site for almost 200,000 years, hunting Woolly Rhinoceros and Mammoth across the now hidden coastal plain.

This Geowalk starts in Ouaisné carpark.
