With the advent of British Colonial exploitation to the colonies of the ‘New World of the Americas’, Britain took advantage along with the fishing grounds of Eastern Provinces of Canada, (Newfoundland). With adventurous crossings of Atlantic trade, establishing our Island, situated in the Bay of Mt. Michel, South of the English Channel, became the entry port of free tax merchandise to Great Britain during the18th Century. Jersey unfolds its heritage to explore how through those early days, we influence the Commerce of North America. With those pioneering founding Fathers, Jersey has become the basis of the USA, as we know it today.
