When it comes to summer holidays, you just can’t beat an idyllic island escape. Lazy days on the beach, long, leisurely lunches and cocktails as the sun goes down. Here on our Curiously Brit…(ish) island, there are plenty of opportunities to soak up those exotic island vibes.

To celebrate those glorious summer days here in Jersey, bars, restaurants and hotels all over the island have been on a noble mission… To create the ultimate island inspired cocktail using Tidal Rum.

Tidal Rum’s secret weapon – Jersey’s own Pepper Dulse, ‘the truffle of the sea,’ is carefully foraged at low tide on Jersey’s exquisite tidal beaches, giving Tidal Rum its distinct flavour.

The mixologists at each of these fabulous Jersey establishments have created a cocktail best enjoyed on island time – with nowhere to rush to, nothing to do and just an evening ahead of you to enjoy at your leisure.

So, grab your drink, settle in for sunset and take a sip of the exotic here on our Curiously Brit…(ish) island.

A drink and a view.

What better way to feel truly on holiday, than to spend the evening sipping a delicious cocktail whilst taking in one of the many gorgeous views our island has to offer? With a Tidal cocktail in hand and the sound of the sea lapping on the shore, your troubles will melt away.

Paint the town Tidal.

If you’re more in the mood for a night on the tiles, many of St. Helier’s finest watering holes have created a Tidal cocktail for your drinking delight. Whether you’re after speakeasy vibes, relaxed and refined dining and drinking, or lively bars, our bustling market town has it all.

The showstoppers.

There were a couple of cocktails on the Tidal menu that really tickled our fancy. Find out more about them below.

Cocktail with flame at The Porter

Equinox, by The Porter's Store

Tucked away in the basement of the historic Pomme d’Or Hotel, behind closed doors, you’ll find the secret world of The Porter’s Store. This speakeasy style bar serves eclectic cocktails inspired by the stories, characters and inner workings of a bygone era within the hotelier world. Try their flamboyant Equinox Tidal cocktail, made up of a delectable concoction of Tidal Rum, pineapple juice, spice syrup, lime juice, sambuca and dark Rum.

Cocktail with

The Spicy Tidal, by Longueville Manor

At Longueville Manor, expect a sophisticated yet relaxed ‘home from home’ feeling from the moment you step through the door. This family-owned and fun Relais & Châteaux is a place to truly switch off and what better place to do that than at their fabulous bar? We just love the look of their theatrical cocktail ‘The Spicy Tidal’ which includes Tidal Rum, Grand Marnier, cranberry orange and cinnamon syrup, lime juice, aquafaba, topped up with champagne and flavour bubble of mixed berries.
